The 10^th Annual Women’s Golf Tournament, hosted by Taylor Meadow’s Golf Club, on Sunday, June 3^rd, 2007, was a delightful event that was enjoyed by both the players and the staff. Seventeen teams of two ladies (the format was a two-person scramble) each went out and enjoyed a fun, yet slightly competitive, 18-hole round of golf. After a one hour rain delay, the sun came out, and the tournament was on! We received numerous compliments about the course, service, and the tournament, and we couldn’t have asked for any better competitors! We are sure we can speak for the ladies when we say that the players and the staff cannot wait for next year’s event.

 

            Congratulations to our winners Monica Yesh and Jeanne Freed, who captured 1^st place honors with a 75 (4-over-par). The runners up were Kathy Regan and Sue Yerman, who shot a 77 (6-over-par). Our closest to the pin winners were Bernice Puckett (who knocked it close on the 5^th), and Diane Johnson (who hit a brilliant shot onto the 12^th).
