On Sunday June 12th, 2011, Taylor Meadows hosted its 14th Annual Women’s Tournament. The field, consisting of 16 two-person teams, hit the tees with a 8:00am shotgun start. Despite cool temperatures, the friendly competition quickly heated up.
 
After a strong performance that came up just short last year, Ann Lapointe and Alison Neff took the field by storm this year. Their impressive 2-over par 73 comfortably crowned them this year’s Champions. Congratulations ladies!
 
Finishing with a solid 9-over par 80, Sheryl Bieniak and Mary Szymanski took home the Runner Up awards. Their strong round just edged out four other teams that finished with a final score of 81.
 
The Women’s Tournament also included two “Closest to the Pin” contests. Attacking the pins on holes 5 and 12, Lori Brithinee and Diane Erley took home prizes.
 
In addition, several participants took home other gifts and goodies in our appreciation raffle.
 
We would like to thank all of the ladies who made the 2011 Women’s Tournament another success!
